PoE2 Bloodied Blade and Hemorrhage: Duelist Bleed Stance Skills
Bloodied Blade enters Blood Stance after parry on the PoE2 Duelist; Hemorrhage speeds bleeds and Rending Dash consumes blood loss for a giga bleed.

How do Bloodied Blade and Hemorrhage fit the Duelist bleed loop?
Bloodied Blade is the stance entry skill for the Duelist bleed package, and Hemorrhage is the accelerator once enemies already bleed. Jonathan Rogers introduced both while showcasing dual-wield swords, which unlike other weapon types let you parry, then follow with Bloodied Blade to enter Blood Stance. From there, basic attacks and stance-aware skills change behaviour; Hemorrhage and Rending Dash extend the same bleed stack into burst windows. Mark Roberts later reused Bloodied Blade not after parry but as a rotation bridge into Cyclone on the Scourge Walker build.

How do you enter Blood Stance and apply bleed?
Rogers switched from two-hand play to dual wield specifically to show parry into Bloodied Blade. After a successful parry sequence, Bloodied Blade enters Blood Stance. While in that stance, using default attack creates a blood wave that causes enemies to bleed. Blood Stance also alters other skills that read stances—Rogers’ example was Perforate, which from Blood Stance produces mini blood novas instead of the drill thrusts or sand disks you get from other stances.
Parry itself received a reliability upgrade in PoE2 according to Rogers, and shield bash from Ready Stance can parry without waiting for an enemy wind-up. Those rules live on the Duelist parry page; this page focuses on what happens after you are bleeding targets in Blood Stance.

What does Hemorrhage add after bleed is running?
Once enemies bleed, Rogers suggested trying Hemorrhage. The skill creates blood slashes that drastically speed up bleeding on those enemies. The footage showed large vertical blood bursts on a single boss; GGG did not display tick rates or damage numbers in the UI during that shot.
Hemorrhage is not the first applicator—it assumes bleed already exists from blood wave, Perforate novas, or other sources. Rogers did not list every skill that can apply initial bleed in the segment.
How does Rending Dash consume blood loss?
After enemies accumulate enough blood loss (Rogers’ wording, not a visible meter name in the transcript), he showed Rending Dash slicing through them to consume all of that blood loss for a “giga bleed.” Earlier in the same video, Rending Dash from Ready Stance was introduced as a movement skill that keeps you in Ready Stance for repositioning; the consume interaction was presented as the payoff once Hemorrhage and other bleed tools have ramped the target.

Perforate from Blood Stance adds another bleed source: triple stab drills become mini blood novas on hit enemies, which Rogers framed as pack clear similar to sand disks from Sand Stance Perforate.
How does Scourge Walker fold Bloodied Blade into Cyclone?
The Jonathan Rogers arena demo ended before Ascendancy and unique-heavy tuning; Mark Roberts’ Scourge Walker segment showed a production-style rotation:
- Infernal Step several times with Oro’s Sacrifice (unique sword shown in the video).
- Once you have a Frenzy Charge (Roberts said Oro’s Sacrifice grants frenzy charges while at maximum Sacrificial Flame).
- Use Bloodied Blade to enter Blood Stance without relying on parry in that clip.
- Cyclone while blood and fire effects fill the screen—Roberts described blood-enhanced Cyclone between Infernal Step bursts.
For single-target they swapped weapon sets to a one-hand sword and targe for parry that preserves Blood Stance (Runeforged Targe in their setup), then parry dash into Cyclone. That parry variant is endgame gear specific; Rogers’ campaign demo used standard parry into Bloodied Blade instead.
Roberts also layered more supports on Cyclone in the same segment: a new support (name not spoken) that makes bleeding enemies shed flesh chunks that explode after a delay, plus Fan the Flames and Echoing Strikes consuming frenzy charges for extra Cyclone copies. Those supports are shown attached in the developer build; public tooltips at launch may differ.
What is still unknown?
GGG has not published numeric values for blood loss buildup, Hemorrhage acceleration, or the giga bleed multiplier. Frenzy charge generation rates from Oro’s Sacrifice were demonstrated visually, not as item text in this summary. Ascendancy classes were teased with art only (ascendancy confirmation page). The Duelist and these skills arrive with 1.0 on 11 Dec 2026.
